Improve Shoulder Mobility and Learn to Correct Muscle & Joint Imbalances

 

Shoulder pain and movement problems are very common among recreational and CrossFit athletes alike.  The shoulder is a load bearing joint and ideally, should move free of pain in all planes of movement.  In fact, shoulder mobility is a vital component of good human kinematics and is a staple of all functional body weight and strength training programs.  In order to train the body to work effectively, the shoulder needs to have full range of motion to push, pull, flex, extend and circumduct.  

When the shoulders get imbalanced or out of proper position and we repeatedly exercise through these these imbalances we put the joint at risk for strain, repetitive stress, pain and possible injury. 

Please join me this Saturday, October 31st (10:00 - 11:00 am) at CrossFit 5885  (Apple Valley, MN) for a hands-on instructional self-mysofascial release and corrective exercise session.

We will be learning easy to do movements to address muscle imbalances, fascial restrictions and alignment issues in the SHOULDERS.

This class is open to members and the general public (drop-in is $20, and a 10 Class punch pass is $180)!  If you plan to attend are are coming for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes early.

Equipment:  Bring a single and double taped lacrosse ball set (we have sets available for purchase for $10),  yoga block, a mat and foam roller.
