There is no requirement to purchase any equipment to do corrective or posture alignment exercises on your own at home. You can do a corrective exercise menu without buying equipment. However, it's been my professional experience that the right equipment DOES make a difference.
Most individuals already have items around the home that will work for you such as empty boxes, yoga blocks, yoga straps, pillows, chairs and ottomans.
However, from my experience, investing in equipment that maximizes your effectiveness and will enhance your adherence to doing your exercises is very worthwhile. Here's a couple of blog articles I wrote on the subject.
At Pain Free Posture the vendor we personally use and recommend and have experience with is Therapy Zone. However, it is important to us that you know there there are other companies currently on the market that produce and sell equipment for corrective exercise and posture alignment exercises.
