Pain is a Signal
Instead of masking the syptom, we tackle it head on by teaching you that it's your position (your posture), NOT your condition (your pain).
I always say that Posture Alignment Therapy is so simple, it's profound. And because of it's simplicity there are millions of chronic pain sufferers who will disregard or refuse to give it a try because it looks to easy to be true.
However, in my professional and personal opinion, it actually requires MUCH MORE.
The corrective exercises are the easy part. The hard part is that it requires YOU, the client to TAKE CONTROL. Seize the day, try something new, change your thoughts, actions and habits, get re-connected with your body and overcome the fear and hopelssness that has been instilled within you.
This kind of change can paralyze us into procrastination, but more often, we often avoid this kind of change because of fear. Fear of man, fear of new things, fear of failing once again, fear fear of no control. Who hasn't been paralyzed by fear at one time or another?
Fear is an interesting emotion. It can be motivating, exhilarating and invigorating for one person, and completely paralyzing, agitating and depressing for another. All I know is this:
Nothing Changes, if Nothing Changes.
At some point you have to decide to break the vicious cycle of chronic pain. Jump off the chronic pain merry-go-round, and conquer what Albert Einstein eloquently defined as insanity "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
To overcome chronic musculoskeletal pain successfully you have to take fear and procrastination by the horn and shout out the Nike motivational quote "Just Do It!"
