Chronic pain is a thief. It steals from every facet of life.
Why do I know this?
Unfortunately, that's what I see day in and out here at Pain Free Posture MN.
Today I watched a fantastic video on YouTube called What is Chronic Pain. This video discusses the complexity of pain and how important it is to understand that the brain must be re-trained when working to eliminate it.
The best approach is to treat the pain from a whole body approach because it is the best solution for successfully retraining how the brain perceives pain.
The experience of chronic pain is a complex issue and affects each person in a unique way in mind, body and spirit.
Our corrective exercise services recognize the complexity of the chronic pain cycle and the fact that a one-size fits all approach to helping your solve the problem just doesn't work.
At Pain Free Posture MN we truly understand and acknowledge that pain can and does affect every facet of life.
We are here to look at you as a WHOLE person, in mind, body and spirit and will help you step-by-step along the path of recovery back to achieving A Pain Free Life and Living.
Remember, YOU are more than just a body. One of the best ways to help an individual overcome the complexity of chronic pain, is to re-train the brain and nervous system by looking at you as a whole. A structured approach to healing the body is the first step. Corrective Exercise focuses on the position of the body (posture) versus the symptom (pain). Very often the pain is the result of imbalances above and below the aggravated area. We will help restore your posture, which helps reduce pain and improve your function in activities of daily life and athletic pursuits. Throughout the process, we'll help you identify areas in your life that may be contributing to the pain cycle response, and help you create ways to successfully deal with them so you can heal.
